A small change to our November Assembly!

Safe and Caring Committee speaking about their endeavour.

"Things are going to look and feel a little bit different because the OES Grade 7 Leadership Groups have been working all month to prepare for the assembly. Some of the Grade 7 students will be performing roles in the assembly today but all of the Grade 7 students have contributed behind the scenes to make today a success." -  Stephanie Damery, Acting Assistant Principal.

Yes, today's assembly was well run by our eldest students!  The Competencies Group spoke about Communication, they assisted our Admin is dolling out Inspiring Kid Awards and the Safe and Caring Committee spoke of their book and movie donation drive, a great success.  OES school community has donated boxes and boxes of books and movies, toward this Safe and Caring initiative.  One student from each classroom will receive a gently used item as a prize for participating in the character dress up.  The whopping remainder of items will be donated to the Stollery Children's Hospital.
