School Patrol Program
The Patrol program is instituted under the auspices of the AMA. With a teacher supervisor, Grade 5-7 students patrol at the High School crosswalk except in severe weather conditions. Students work in pairs on a rotational basis. The purpose of the program is to ensure children cross safely at the intersection.

School Patrol Crossing Expectations
- Cross only at the corners.
- Watch for long, safe gaps in traffic.
- Be on the lookout for turning cars.
- Walk, never run across the street.
- Look all ways before crossing.
Gr 6/7 Handbell Choir
A before school club, meeting Thursday mornings at 7:15 am, students practice, prepare and present handbell musical performances.
Gr 1/2 Choir
Noon meetings prepare students for singing at special events and assemblies throughout the year. See Mrs. Hetherington's eTeacher page for more information.
Gr 3-7 Choir
Meeting at noon recesses prepares students for singing at special events and assemblies throughout the year.

Practice and develop recorder skills at noon meetings. Performances at special events and assemblies.
Grade 7 students build and program Lego robot that can perform tasks in preparation for January tournament at NAIT.
Students plan Earth Day and Earth Hour activities, recycling, gardening, and other special earth related interests.
Students prepare a play for special school and parent performances.
