We’re excited to kick off our school’s annual food drive! This is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and make a meaningful impact on those in need.
This year, we’ll be adding a fun twist to the competition. Instead of counting the number of items, we’ll measure the total length of food items collected by each classroom. Think of those long spaghetti boxes and cans of soup—they all count toward your total length!
Here’s how it will work:
Encourage your child to bring in non-perishable food items.
Food items will be measured and tracked for each classroom on December 17th.
The first and second placed classroom with the greatest combined length of food items collected will win the competition, a pizza party on December 20th (and, of course, bragging rights!).
Let’s inspire our students to participate and teach them the value of giving back to the community. Together, we can make this food drive a huge success!
